Kissing balls have been around since medieval villagers wound twine and evergreen leaves into a sphere and placed a clay figure of Jesus in the centre. They were known as "Holy boughs". During the Victorian age it was adapted by using an apple or potato and sticking sweet herbs and foliage in it to create a more scent based decoration. Well sticking with this theme i've used more modern faux flowers (not traditionally winter or Christmas ones) and added the scent of Mulled Wine. Who says red and green should never been seen!
